This project showcases a comprehensive exterior facade in cream limestone designed for a modern 20,000 sq.ft luxury residence. The choice of European cream limestone was dictated by the need for a clean, uniform tone and minimal veining—essential characteristics for achieving a refined contemporary aesthetic that emphasizes volume and light. This material selection highlights the subtle differences between natural limestone and cast stone alternatives, ensuring a facade that ages gracefully without losing its structural integrity.
Massive Slab Masonry & Grand Entrance Geometry
The architectural centerpiece of this residence is the grand entrance, defined by a monumental limestone door surround.
Oversized Portals: The entry is framed by massive limestone slabs, flanked by perfectly symmetrical panels.
Dimensional Specs: We utilized 4′ x 4′ limestone slabs with a substantial 3-inch thickness. This depth creates bold shadows and a sense of architectural weight that thinner veneers cannot replicate.
Linear Definition: A large, two-stage crown molding terminates the vertical planes, adding horizontal definition and a “weighted” roofline that anchors the structure to its site.
Structural Integration & Custom Fabrication

Balcony & Column Cladding: A unique technical feature of this project is the square limestone columns. These were custom-fabricated to clad the structural steel balcony posts, creating a seamless transition where the engineering is completely hidden behind the stone skin.
