Fluted Limestone Columns – Grand Entrance to a Banquet Hall

We designed and fabricated a set of four monumental fluted limestone columns for the main entrance of a banquet hall located in the Northern United States. Each column featured an oversized base and was topped with a European-style capital, bringing classical elegance to the architecture.

The columns were crafted from high-quality European limestone, with a 3-inch-thick outer limestone shell. Internally, each column was left hollow to accommodate a reinforced concrete post, providing structural support for the roof above. The limestone shell was precisely engineered to be flip-installed around the structural core, combining durability with refined aesthetics.

This project stands as a bold architectural statement, enhancing the grandeur and formality of the venue’s front entryway.
