Project Overview
The entrance was designed as the architectural focal point of a private luxury residence. Its white limestone composition creates a strong contrast against the dark natural-stone facade and frames the arched wood doorway with balanced classical proportions.
Every visible component was produced specifically for this residence. No standard surround or prefabricated profile was used.
Design Development
Marvelous Marble translated the architect’s concept into a coordinated three-dimensional model and a complete set of fabrication drawings. The drawings defined the dimensions, profiles, returns, connection points and identification number of every stone component.
This component-based system supported accurate fabrication, protected transportation and an organized installation sequence.

The Process
01 - Architectural Drawings
The architect's elevations, dimensions and design intent established the proportions of the entrance.
02 - 3D Design Development
A three-dimensional model was developed to coordinate the arch, panels, cornice and entrance platform.
03 - Detailed Shop Drawings
Every component was dimensioned and numbered for accurate fabrication and assembly.
04 - Stone Fabrication
Heavy limestone stock was cut and shaped into the required architectural profiles and curved arch sections.
05 - Honing and Finishing
The limestone surfaces were refined with a honed finish for a soft and consistent architectural appearance.
06 - Crating and Delivery
The completed pieces were organized by assembly sequence and packed in protective custom crates for delivery.
