This project showcases the application of European limestone in a contemporary commercial structure. Although the limestone panels were fabricated with straight cuts and a thickness of 2 inches, they were installed in a curved pattern to follow the rounded form of the building.
What sets this project apart is the unique knitted or basket-weave appearance of the façade. The limestone slabs are layered in an alternating up-and-down rhythm, creating a visually textured surface. Around the windows and from the base to the top of the building, the panels were custom-cut to perfectly match each section. The entire cladding system was mounted using a mechanical installation method, ensuring both durability and aesthetic precision.
